In January, 2017, SCC successfully completed the HLC’s Open Pathway reaffirmation of accreditation process. The college submitted its assurance argument and evidence files, and hosted a Peer Review visit as part of this process. The purpose is to report and provide evidence of how we are meeting the criteria of accreditation. The Higher Learning Commission, in a letter dated June 19, 2017, provided formal notification to SCC that its accreditation is continued, with the next Reaffirmation of Accreditation in 2026-27.
